Hi Totara community,
Our team recently noticed that learners can see an “Enrolment details” button on the programs pages. This is visible both when:
Learners are enrolled by Site Admins via audiences in the Assignment tab, and
Self-enrolment method is enabled and learners enrol themselves.
While the panel can be helpful for learners—e.g., showing Date assigned or Due date—it also exposes internal information, such as the audience names through which they were assigned. Since audience names are internal and often not intended for learners, this is not ideal.
We have already looked into whether this could be controlled via capabilities or permissions, but we were unable to find any capability that appears to govern visibility of the “Enrolment details” button/ the audiences listed inside it.
Is there any way to remove or hide the “Enrolment details” button from a learner’s view, or just hide the audience names inside that panel?
Thanks in advance for any guidance or recommended workarounds!
Best regards,
Monica Hansen
