course reset independent from completion

Hey guys,

I urgently need your help:

I want to reset a course every 3 months so that the people who have registered have to take the course again. There used to be an option called “recurring course” or something similar in the programs. Unfortunately, I can't activate it in our Totara because I'm not an admin and the admin won't do it.

What options do I have to restart the course every three months WITHOUT having to reset it manually?

If I understand correctly, this can be solved via the certificates, but these always refer to the course completion date, am I right?

There are several ways that the recertification date can be calculated. I hope that helps

I have seen these options, but I am always confused by the highlighted sentence (see screenshot).

If I understand correctly, I need to set a due date for the enrolled audience. And from that due date, the certificate will then be valid for three months (according to my settings), regardless of whether a person has completed the course or not. Is that correct?
