Hi Everyone,

Wondering if anyone has a solution or work around for this issue.

Example: A Learner/User is enrolled in a program via an audience with rules containing position names. The Learner completes the program. A year or so later the Learner is promoted to a position that is also included in that audience for that same program. The System unenrolls and then reenrolls the Learner into that program they've already completed. An enrollment notification is sent to the Learner. The Learner contacts us confused wondering if they need to complete the program again, but yet the program shows as still complete for them. We apologize and explain this was due to their position title change.

Is there a way to keep this from happening? We have org changes ad hoc and twice a year also.

More a workaround, but could you amend the enrolment message wording? We currently have two ways people are assigned some of our certifications so have had to do this - our wording is as follows.


Hi [Subject Full name],

You have been enrolled in or assigned [Certification Full name (with link)].

If your current status is 'Assigned' or 'Window Open' in the [Certification Full name (with link)] please complete the Certification requirements.

If your status is 'Certified', we have updated [Certification Full name (with link)] in Tiritiri.



Unfortunately I couldn't see a way to insert the user's current status in the notification.

Otherwise you could add a rule to the Audience using OR User is assigned to the program so they will remain in the audience if they no longer meet the first rule - but this means they will always stay in the audience, even if you want them removed due to role changes.

Thanks for the reply Jane. We may end up trying something like that.

I was hoping for a way for the notification to not be triggered on re-enrollment, but that may be a hard code change/addition. Thanks everyone!
