Hiding Courses on Certification Page

We have a certification for Information Governance training. Most staff achieve this by completing an e-learning course but we do also have some staff complete a face to face session. These face to face sessions are managed by the trainer and we do not allow self-booking. When you look at the certification page you can see both courses but we really only want it to show the e-learning course. We have 'hidden' the class based course so it is not showing when a user looks for it in the catalogue but it still shows on the certification page. Has anyone come across a way of hiding courses on the certification pages?

Hi Alistair,

You can't really hide a course in a Certification or Program. If a user has been assigned, they'll have visibility of the content.

Maybe it would be better to include the Seminar(face to face) in a course, but with an access restriction on the activity?

To do this, you'd need to edit the Seminar's settings and add an access restriction. Potentially blocking the same audience that is assigned to the program. Even if access to the activity is restricted, an admin/trainer can still book the users and take attendance etc.

I hope this helps,

Cheers
