Hi Claire,

I'm not sure I'd necessarily want to use Learning Plans for this type of scenario.

I'd probably use a combination of Courses, Programs and Competencies/Skills (In Totara 20> Competencies are now Skills)

Programs allow you to group courses into an ordered program of learning.

Programs are easily managed and have lots of different reporting options, so you can be confident that managers in the organisation have all got access and completed learning.

Skills can be linked to courses (as an achievement path to gain the skill).

There are some excellent Totara Academy courses to help you learn about managing programs.

Others may have different ideas, but unless there was a specific reason for choosing a Learning Plan I would probably keep it simple and use Programs.
