Hello!

I am wondering if there is a way to set-up a notification that when a learner signs up for a seminar and joins the waitlist, if there is a way to notify them when a space has become available and they have been added to the class roster. We are seeing a gap and missing users be notified when they have joined the class from being on the waitlist but were not notified so they did not attend the session.

Any help on this would be greatly appreciated. We will also be moving to V19 from V12 so I am hopeful the capabilities may change with notification preferences.

Kia ora Alexx,

They should get a booking confirmation once they are added to a seminar from a waitlist. I'm assuming those who signed up before the waitlist limit was reached got confirmation notifications.

There can be reasons for a confirmation email not being sent but without seeing the set-up, it is hard to say.

Hi Larry,

Thank you so much for the insight. Yes, anyone signed up prior to the waitlist all received a confirmation notification. Those who add their name to the waitlist will also get a confirmation notification of being added to the waitlist. It is when they get removed from the waitlist and added to the class is what I am not sure of and feel as though there is a gap.

I am going to do a little more testing on my end to see if this is the case. I feel as though there is something missing and these notifications are not being sent.

Yes, they should get the confirmation notification once they move from the waitlist to being booked.

If they are not getting it there must be a setting preventing it from being sent.
