I am using v16 and get the subject* message for just one learner, when trying to tryig to add an attendee and update the learner's attendance, I have no restrictions set under Seminar admin. Any ideas please.
Had to mark as completed under Completion editorr

Usually, this message will be displayed if the user is booked onto another event in the same activity, or there are restrictions set around sign-up.
Is it possible that the affected user has had their attendance status set in one of the events?
For example check if 'Restrict subsequent sign-ups to' is set for:
Partially attended
No show
Does the user have an attendance status with any one of those in one of the events?

Thanks, this may have been the case, or, they hadn't completed all the pre work, as after speaking to them on teams and ticking off the pre work, I was able to update their attendance.
