When retrospectively adding staff to a seminar in order to mark attendance, we sometimes get a message saying 'Attendance in other events restrict booking this event'. We understand this means there is a conflicting booking on the system. Unfortunately, the error message doesn't tell us which session they are booked onto, meaning our teams need to investigate, find the booking, cancel it and then add the attendance. They do this by logging in as the user and then either:
checking the notifications for confirmation of the booking, or
checking each seminar event for a grey box saying 'booked' to identify the date/time they are booked onto.
My questions are:
Has anyone found an easier way of identifying the conflicting course bookings?
Is there a possibility of this information being added in a future version of Totara?
For information, we have enabled the setting that blocks users from booking on multiple seminars on the same course, hence this error message.
