We have just converted a site from 2.6 to 2.7 and wanted to make use of the new main menu. However, in order to replace the old custommenuitems which are part of the theme settings, we require another level of sub-menus. Is this not supported by the new feature?

This isnt possible at present, however I've created a Feature Request and it has been added to our features and enhancements tracker for review and assessment. For future reference the enhancement ID is TL-6556.
I have created a new topic in the Suggest features forum here to provide visibility and allow for further discussion if necessary.We will provide a status update once the initial review and assessment has been completed.
