I see what you mean - Ill put in an enhancement request for this. In the meantime would it be possible to have 5 dates (say) in the F2F and simple remove the date column in the report? This will eliminate the repeat rows.

After a discussion with the devs we've agreed this is a bug and we'll have it in the 1.1 release scheduled for the 21st of may

I've created patches for this problem for Totara 1.1, 2.2 and 2.4. It was already included in 2.4.1 and should be included in the next 1.1 and 2.2 releases (currently scheduled for May 21 and June 4 respectively).

Theres a "partially attended" option when you come to mark attendance which suit your needs.

Yip - unfortunately that is the only solution available at the moment - other than to break the f2f session up into separate daily sessions.
