Hi can anyone advise if they have discovered a work around the 'Date Created' automated date stamp in the creation of Learning Plans.
At East Lancashire Hospitals this is proving to be a problem as in many areas and instances the PDR's may well be conducted on paper and uploaded at a later date therefore this automated date is not relfective of the actual PDR date.
Ideally this date field needs to be editable.
Does anyyone have any suggestions?

This is a good idea, we will have a working date picker in the next release (hopefully) of 2.5.

Just to let you know that a patch allowing you to set the creation date for learning plans was included in todays release of Totara 2.4.15 and there is a patch in review to add the same changes to 2.5 so you should see that in the next 2.5 release.

A patch to resolve this issue was included in today's (24th December 2013) release of Totara 2.5.4
A fix for this issue was included in today's (14th January 2014) release of Totara 2.4.16.
At East Lancashire Hospital we are on V 2.5 and i don't seem to be able to see where the Learning Plan 'Date Created' field is now editable, please can youa dvise?
Hi Raisa,
When viewing a learning plan from the Overview tab click on Edit Details button, and on that form both Date Started and Completion Date are now editable. Also when creating a plan the start date is now selectable, before it defaulted to today's date and could not be changed.
Note you will have to upgrade to 2.5.4 or above to see this change.
