When compared to other tools and easy access to site wide activity or course completion rates, both Moodle and Totara are very lacking and you often need to pull multiple reports and combine them in Excel.

I would like to know, if any one has:

  • Experience with a reporting plug-in?
  • Experience connecting the Totara database to a reporting platform, such as QlikView, Tableau, OBIEE or Crystal. Personally, I interested in QlikView experience.
  • Tips and tricks to get easier reporting within Totara itself.

Could you explain a little more about what you would like to see in the course completion reports? Maybe a list of column headings for your ideal report(s)?
