Hi Grant,
I take it users with lesser permissions used to be able to see the block? Is the block hidden? Have the permissions changed at all for the users?

Hi,
To raise this old discussion again: I've just heard about a case where the custom contents of the Quick Links block seem to be disappearing without any logic.
I would suspect it has to do with permissions but it looks like some admin and manager users are able to see it, whereas others are not. Also, some learner users are able to see it, whereas others are not.
The content shows only "No quick links" as text (not even the default links) but the placeholder for the block itself is intact. The used version is 2.6.6.
Is there a fix for this somewhere?
