Auto-reminder for course review processes

Would it be possible to automate a process advising course owners when a course is due for review?

We currently have custom fields in the 'edit settings' function for a) business owner and b) course review date. It would be great if these were default settings that had additional functionality of sending out course review reminders.

Thanks.

This would be very beneficial for us. Has there been any progress on the enhancement request?

We have been hoping this would be developed at some stage as our process is also very manual. Definite 👍 from me.

Hi Sarah

Some possible options for this

  • Create a forum with a timed forum post in the future and subscribe reviewers to the forum

  • Add a course calendar event for a user or group and allow alert message preference or export to users external calendar and they get a reminder from their external calendar

  • Create an activity that reviewer role can complete and add an activity completion notification after a set amount of time

  • Create a event monitoring rule triggered by an event on the course and reviewers can subscribe to the rule
