I'm pleased to announce the release of Totara 2.6.0 today.
This release is based on the Moodle 2.6 code base which introduces a number of improvements over 2.5:

It also introduces a number of significant new Totara features including:
- Enhanced Course Catalogue
- Hierarchical manager searches
- Set position data during self registration
- Add reasons when managers approve/decline requests
- Relative date support in programs and audiences
- Face to face summary reports
- Ability to hide or disable functionality
- Program custom fields
- New multi-select custom fields type
- Mark face to face attendance in bulk
- Managers can reserve spaces for their staff
- Upload custom course/program icons
- And more...
See the CHANGELOG.php file that comes with the distribution for more details. We will also shortly be publishing a guide to the new features in 2.6.
Since this is a major upgrade please take care to ensure you have full backups as described in the UPGRADE.txt and MOODLEUPGRADE.txt files that come with the release.
As always we will continue to support older releases with regular bug fixes, however new features will only be added to the latest release.
