I was wondering if anybody could help me.
Does Totara have the functionality to set up e-mail notifications that go automatically to an audience when a new activity or resources has been added?
e.g Added a New Resources
E-Mail - A new resource has been added to this course page, click on this link>
I know I can send e-mail to a set audience but I want it to be an automatic update e-mail (if that makes sense).

Hi Izzy,
Totara doesn't automatically send a message when activities are added to a course, though that is a great idea for the Suggest Features forum. I am curious if other folks have found workarounds they use? I know a common one is enrolling the audience in the course, creating a discussion forum and auto-subscribing all users to the forum, then posting updates to the forum including a link to the new resource that the user will receive via email.
