Hi everyone,
Here’s a weekly update on some of the things to keep an eye on in the Totara Community.
For anyone in the Community who’s involved in creating courses, you’ll be very aware that authoring tools can really help to bring course content to life. If you’d like to share your experience on your most loved authoring tools and learn more about some new tools then be sure to get involved in this conversation.
Totara User Conferences
Totara User Conferences bring together the Totara Community from a wide variety of industry sectors to collaborate and to learn from each other's experiences. You'll hear directly from the Totara Team about product innovations and what's in store for the future.
Registration for our Australia Totara User Conference, taking place on 18-19th March 2019 at Cliftons Freshwater Place, Melbourne, is now open! Learn more about the event and secure your spot today.
There will also be User Conferences taking place in London on the 15-16th May 2019 and in Wellington 7-8th August 2019. Registration for these events will open shortly.
Webinars
Next Tuesday on the 27th November at 16.00 in New York, Angela Stopper, CLO, University of California Berkeley will be leading a webinar on how learning leaders across the globe are using and measuring the success of formal, informal and social learning programs to fit the current transformations happening within the L&D world. You can register for the webinar ‘Reengaging the 70:20:10 Model’ now to secure your place.
On the 28th November Wes will be leading two sessions on audiences. With audiences, you can group your users based on information in their profile, or actions they have completed in the system. Then you can use these groups to take bulk actions in the system, such as enrolling a whole audience in a course, or showing a dashboard to everyone in an audience. If you’ve got a question about how to get the most out of audiences, then come along to one of the sessions. Register for one of the events on the 28th November:
Feedback
Don’t forget you can still give us feedback and help to shape the future of the Community by answering this short survey.
Hope you all have a great week!
