FAQ setup without date or author information

Kia ora,

I'm new to Totara and am tasked with setting up a basic FAQ in Totara 11.

It is based on a glossary, but we do not want date or author information. So I have chosen Simple, dictionary style as the Display format, and Full without author as the Approval display format. This achieves us having just the Browse by Alphabet and Browse by Category options.

Trouble is it doesn't look nice from a trainee perspective if Keywords are added; there is no space between the questions - the keywords from the question above merge down to the start of the next question.

I have tried a range of ideas to separate them, but nothing has worked. Does anyone have any ideas?

Much appreciated.

Hi Edna,

Welcome to using Totara Learn, I hope you're enjoying the experience so far. I can see you've taken some Academy courses, I hope those are helping with using the site.

In the Community we use a Wiki for our FAQ section, see here for the example. Another option for the FAQ section could be to use the Database activity, have a look at the Help documentation on this here.

Finally, if these options don't work and you were looking for more customisation on the way the Glossary looks perhaps you could ask your Partner for support with this?

Thanks

Matt

Hi Rahul,

As a Partner you have access to the RFP database, have a look at that as a good example of how to use this.
