Hello
Is there any guidance around arranging seminars which go on over several days? We have seminars/courses which last for 3 days e.g. Tue-Thu 10:30-17:30 on each day. When running the Workshop Summary report this records the event duration as 55 hours, whereas this should be showing as 21 hours. How are seminars best setup to show this on the Workshop Summary report?

I am not sure of what report source you are referring to - I can only see the duration showing in the Seminar activity when administering the Seminar and its is not part of a report.
There is a feature request for this TL-16762 discussed here a suggested workaround of creating a custom field to store the duration and this can be added to the report.

Many thanks for your reply, apologies for my delay in getting back to you. Our Site Administrator has managed to create a Teaching Hours field for our Seminars and we will hopefully see this issue resolved.

Which version are you using? Can you tell me a bit more about the 'Workshop Summary report'?
I think one way to resolve this would be to use 3x7hr events within the Seminar activity, but if you could tell me a bit more about how you've got things set up, and what you want to achieve that would be great to start with.

Many thanks for your response, apologies for the delay in getting back to you. Your advice has worked thank you and we are now adding new Dates to our Workshops and will see how this progresses.
