Version 12 Academy courses
Anyone who’s a member of the Totara Community can take Academy courses. You just need to self-enrol to get started. If you’ve not taken any courses yet, then why not get started with the version 12 Site Administrator program to learn about all the great features available to you?
If you’re interested in learning about competencies, goals, appraisals or 360 feedback, then take the shorter Performance Management program to start gaining your Academy badges.

Tomorrow, on the 12th June at 8.00 (AEST) / 11.00 (EDT)/ 16.00 (BST), Wes will be leading a webinar on competencies. So, if you’re looking to manage the development of your team’s skills and ensure you feel comfortable with using competency frameworks in Totara Learn then this is the perfect webinar for you.
For anyone in New Zealand, the competencies webinar will be repeated on the 13th June at 9.00 (NZT).
Wes will also be running a webinar on seminars on the 26th June at 8.00 (AEST) / 11.00 (EDT) / 16.00 (BST) or on the 27th June at 9.00 (NZT). So, If you need to schedule live sessions, sign-up learners, send reminders, select rooms and track attendance, then you can learn how to do all of this by joining the webinar on using the seminar functionality.
Best-practice webinars
On the 26th June at 10.00 (BST) we’re starting the day with a webinar on how to build effective animation for learning. In this webinar, we’ll take you behind the scenes and show you how the Academy team creates animations, such as this one, for training.
Also on the 26th June at 10.00 (EDT)/ 15.00 (BST) Lori Niles-Hofmann will be providing pragmatic steps on how to create better learning experiences. Join Lori as she shares ten key actions you can take to harness and adapt the tools, people and processes around you.
On the 17th June between 1-2 pm, join Totara’s Lars Hyland for a roundtable as he’ll be discussing how extended enterprise learning drives growth. Lars will be joining other learning experts John Leh, Darren LaRue and Charles Ackerman as they discuss what it takes to lead extended enterprise learning through business change.
