Re-certification - different frequencies

Hi,

We're trying to set up re-certification pathways for different roles in our organisation e.g. Nurses, Medical Officers, ATSI Health Practitioners etc. but we need to set some certifications at different frequencies. For example:

  • A nurse working in acute care needs to complete 21 mandatory courses to gain certification. 3 of those courses must be repeated annually, 3 must be completed every 2 years, 1 repeated every 4 years and 3 repeated every 5 years.

Is there a way to set a re-certification pathway that allows different course sets to be set at different frequencies without having to create a whole different certification pathway for each frequency?

I've attached a snapshot of part of our training matrix to help explain. Keep in mind that this snapshot doesn't include several other roles such as corporate or allied health staff and is only for one of our three health services.

Thanks, I hope someone can help!

Cheers,

A'Mhara

Hi A'Mhara

Certifications only allow courses to be completed with the same frequency.

I think you would need to create separate certifications for each frequency and then use audience rules that include the completion of a certifications with dates and also organisation to place users in the correct certification  based on completion of other certifications.

Hi Craig,

I thought this might be the case! Thanks for the advice.
