Quiz - Multiple choice - Multiple Answer

We are using Totara Learn version 2.9 (so bear with me, this may have been fixed in later versions).

My learners have found a way to 'Brute force' the multiple choice quiz, for example:

Question 1: Please select 3 correct answers

A Correct

B Correct

C Correct

D Incorrect

Learner selects all 4 answers and still passes the quiz correctly because they have selected all the right answers. However they have selected one wrong answer.

To overcome this, we have placed scores like this:

Question 1: Select 3 correct answers

A Correct 33.333

B Correct 33.333

C Correct 33.333

D Incorrect -10 (minus)

But surely there is a better way of doing this?

Is there a way to tell the multiple choice question that only three (any) answers can be selected?

Any help on this would be great.

Thanks, Simone.

Hi Simone,

There is not a way to limit the number of choices the user selects. You are doing what I would do though, in making the wrong answer work a negative value.

Thanks!
