Hi all,

We’ve got several great webinars to look forward to this week, so if you haven’t already, this is your last chance to sign up.

On the 26th June at 10.00 (BST) we’re starting the day with a webinar on how to build effective animation for learning. Join Totara’s Visual Design Lead Matt Stokes as he shows you how we create effective animations for learning in the Totara Academy. Matt will provide insights on how to ensure your audience remains focused on your key messages as well as providing an overview on his approach to animation conception, realisation and beyond.

Following Matt at 15.00 (BST) or 10.00 (EDT) Lori Niles-Hofmann will be providing pragmatic steps on how to create better learning experiences. Lori was our keynote speaker at the recent EMEA Totara User Conference and received great reviews from those that attended. If you didn’t get the chance to see Lori then come along to this webinar as Lori addresses the top ten key barriers to workplace learners and provides practical guidance on how to overcome these barriers.

If you’d like to get hands-on with Totara Learn and find out more about how to get the best out of the seminar functionality in Totara Learn then Wes is leading a session all about seminars on Thursday too. You can join Wes on the 26th June at 8.00 (AEST) / 11.00 (EDT) / 16.00 (BST). The session will be repeated on the 27th June at 9.00 (NZT).

Tracking user engagement

There are lots of interesting conversations happening in the Community and it’s always great to hear how your sites are developing. If you’re looking for best practice approaches to tracking how engaged your users are then join the conversation and share your ideas here.

New Sector Spaces!

We’ve got several new sector spaces available for you to get involved with. If you’re working in a particular industry and want to connect with other learning professionals in your field, then start a conversation in our dedicated sector spaces. We’ve got several set up and we’ll be adding more soon. New spaces include:

·      Retail

·      Energy

·      Technology

We’ve also got spaces set up for healthcare and government. So if you’re working in any of those industry sectors why not go in and introduce yourself to your peers?

If you’d like to meet with other Totara users, hear success stories, and get new ideas about how to implement learning in your system then come along to our New Zealand user conference which takes place on the 7th August.

That’s all for now. Have a great week.

Matt.
