This week, we’ve released a new ebook ‘The learner social contract’ written by the EMEA Totara User Conference keynote speaker Lori Niles-Hoffman and Lars Hyland. In the book Lori and Lars consider the growing skills gap, discuss the skills development of learning professionals and provide practical advice on how to radically re-focus how you approach the design of your learning. If you prefer, you can catch Lori “in-person” by watching her webinar in the Community now.
Energy Sector learning professionals – call out
The Totara Community aims to help you connect with other learning professionals working in your sector so that you can share best practice with your peers. The Energy sector space is now up and running so do come and join the conversation. An easy first step is to introduce yourself and talk about any learning and development related issues that others may be able to help you with.
We now have five Sector Spaces on the Community to help you connect with learning professionals working in your field, the other spaces are Healthcare, Government, Retail and Technology. Do contact us if you’d like to see more available.
Satisfaction survey
At Totara, we’re always keen to hear your thoughts about your experience using the Totara platform. Your insights are important so please do complete this short 2-minute satisfaction survey. Thank you for investing the time as it really helps to guide how the platform evolves.
Open badges
Badges are a form of digital accreditation that can help motivate learners and recognise achievement. But which tools do you use to design your digital badges? If you’ve got ideas or experience to share, do add them to this forum discussion.
New Zealand User Conference
It’s just four weeks now until the New Zealand User Conference in Wellington. At the user conference, you can meet peers, share ideas of best practice, listen to success stories and learn about product innovations. We look forward to seeing you there.
Learning Technologies Summer Forum
On Thursday 11th July five Totara Partners will be exhibiting in London discussing how to improve workplace learning and performance with several seminars to look out for.
Hope you all have a great week!
