I need to set up a probation report functionality in Totara and I would be curious about what the other forumites would recommend to me. I need something relatively dynamic for various employment levels.
Issue
Both employee and manager need to access the form. I might need also sometimes the manager's manager to sign off on the report.
1. manager needs to set objectives for the employee (few days after start)
2. employee needs also to self-evaluate
3. manager needs to evaluate the performance after a certain time period (few months)
Solution
So the first thing that comes to mind is the appraisal, because it offers the functionality. The downside is that the dates are not dynamic. Hence I would need to redesign the template every time I create the form.
Question
Can anyone here recommend a better option?
