Hello Brilliant Totara users

I need some help figuring this out.   For reasons that are too long to explain, our trainer is requesting to edit the Activity Report within a course.-----Course-Reports-Activity Report, he wanted to add POSITION and USER COUNTRY to THIS report but our vendor said there's no way without major coding.   I know we could have used Reports Builder to add those columns but he made a mistake during construction and switched SCORM files and now the most accurate report is this one, which does NOT flow through to the course completion report builder =(   Double FAIL!!     do we have any other options?

Hi Christina

The course activity report is not a report that can be edited by the Report builder so would need coding.

If this is a SCORM activity then there is a SCORM report source available in the Report builder and this does include the position and User country columns as well as other info on the SCORM fields.

If this doesn't provide all of the information required then it is possible to export the activity report and the SCORM report and combine these into a spreadsheet using LOOKUP functions.

Craig, upon further examination, it's not a SCORM file, its a Rise course authored in Articulate.  that's why we were originally looking at the Activity report.   Sorry for the incorrect information.   Being that it's basically a fancy HTML5 box, is there a custom report that pulls specifically from the Activity Report under Reports?

thank you !

Hi Christina

Articulate Rise is the content authoring tool - the content should be able to be exported into SCORM 1.2 format that is suitable for Totara SCORM reporting  (assuming you have the source file and Articulate Rise application)
