Number of times a question has been missed

There's so much good information on the question results, but I can't seem to find a simple way to identify how many times a question has been in a particular time frame.

We pull questions randomly from question banks.

If I open Results ==> Grades I can see which question NUMBERS were missed, and if I downloaded this to excel I could do a count and sort by date, but then I realized it doesn't tell me which question from the bank the user answered.

The statistics page shows the number of attemps and the percentage, so I could do some math to get the number of times it was missed, but that screen doesn't have the date/time answered.

I just wanted to jump on here and make sure I'm not missing something before I build a custom report.

That does sound very useful! Unfortunately there's not a way to track the number of times a question has appeared out of the box.

Hello,

I'd like to know if you found a work-around?

I just realised it'll be difficult for us to help our customers with the analysis of their quizzes as we add Random questions from a specific category (20 from 27). You can see below what I mean by that. Is their anyway to get the info for a specific question? I looked at the question bank and did not find any clue.

Hi Joyce

An analysis of the individual questions in the quiz should show when Quiz admin > Results > Statistics are chosen

Underneath each random question the random questions selected should show. The question details are available by clicking the link for the question name and this is downloadable for further analysis.

I don't understand why but it's working only on the last question of the quiz (#20 there). It seems ok, because when I go on one question individually it shows me all the positions where the questions had been seen and the stats match the global view.

And that's nice I have 3 questions pointed out I did not notice yesterday!

Hi Joyce

I tried on the latest 12 and initially the report showed only one attempt so I selected the All attempts and Show report and seems to be as expected now. Can you try selecting the Show report button to see if this helps.
