We were hoping to automate part of the registration process.
Is there any way to upload user.csv and jobassignment.csv as one spreadsheet (happy even if the same spreadsheet needs to be uploaded twice)?
It would also help to know if others have found any good ways to do this is the most time and effort efficient way.

The job assignment was taken out of the user file for HR Import in version 10 - this was done so that the user's job assignment can be fully managed using HR Import.
Two separate files are required as the column names for the HR Import are predefined

There is self-registration with approval authentication method that may be suitable . This lets a new user input their details and select their position/manager.
User's require approval by selected user or users with selected email addresses can be automatically approved.
Does this sound as though this could work for you?
