Hi,

Regarding multiple choice answers to quiz questions that contain multiple lines of text, the text is forced to sit underneath the radio button. Whereas, answers that contain a single line of text is correctly left aligned to the radio button.

It's the same with check boxes, when the multiple choice quiz question has multiple answers.

It only seems to happen when completing the quiz, not when previewing the quiz or when reviewing a quiz attempt. See screen shots attached.  Also added screen shots showing html view of the first multiple line answer, with and without tags. Removing the tags doesn't make a difference. I also tried applying 'pre-formatted' and 'paragraph' font to the answer text and the same thing happens.

Oh, and I tried Chrome and IE when completing the quiz.

Any ideas?

We're using Totara Learn v12.x

Hi Michelle

Can you confirm that you are completing the quiz as a learner - the first screenshot shows the edit question link which is not available when doing the quiz as a learner.

I tried this as a learner in v12.10 and the checkbox appeared beside the option.

Thanks for your help with this.

I have logged in as a learner and the same thing happens - the multi-line text sits below the checkbox when completing the quiz question.

Hi Michelle

Thanks for the information - what version of Totara 12 are you using?

There was a fix for quiz navigation in 12.9 and one in 12.2 for the lesson block placement that may have affected the alignment.

Can you confirm you are using the standard Basis theme?
