Is there a way to set up a badge to be automatically allocated without an email notification? If so can you please point me in the right direction for instructions.

Hi Anne Marie
It is possible for individual users to turn off notifications for a range of notification including Badge recipient and Badge creator notifications
- Click on your profile in the upper right corner
- Select Preferences > Notification preferences
- Turn Off the notification channels and types you don't want.
It is also possible to set the default message outputs to set this for all users
