Course Progress Tracking

Hello,

Is there a way via Totara to set up a course where the platform will capture the point where a learner stops within a course and when they access the course on another session that it will bring them directly to the point that they stopped at?

For example: A learner accesses a 30 slide course.  On Monday they view the first 15 slides and stop.  On Tuesday they access the course again.  Can Totara remember to start them at slide 15?

Thanks,

Ian

Hi Ian,

Being able to resume an activity where you left off is dependent on Totara receiving and storing tracking progress. This is possible in quizzes and some SCORMs, and Lessons (off the top of my head). Should be easy enough to test what you've set up, what you've described sounds closest to a SCORM, so that would probably be reliant on how the SCORM was put together.

cheers,

George.
