Isolated Multitenancy and course separation (v13)

Hello together,

we are using v13 with multitenancy in isolation mode. We have different customers which have to be strictly separated. But some customers use the standard course and some use a different version. We are looking for the best solution to manage that use case in v13.

We think about using audiences to make the standard courses available for the selected tenants. I think the course has to be in group mode then. The other idea is to duplicate the courses (export/import) for each tenant with the same scorm repository.

Do you have a recommendation for the best solution for this use case?

Best regards

Manuel

Hi Manuel

I don't think isolation mode is an option as this is applied to the whole site and prevents sharing of courses between tenants.

You can make a user a tenant member and this will restrict the user to resources for that tenant

You can also make a user a tenant participant for more than one tenant that have resources that you want the user to see.

This can be combined with  tenant based audiences to only make visible some courses available to users is specified audiences.

Have a try of this and get back to us with any problems that you see with this.
