We have the problem that we are getting British english spellings rather the US english showing on the site. So, for example,   organization is spelled organisation, enrollment is spelled enrolment etc.   The default language is correctly setup as English - United States  I have the Language pack updated but it continues to show English (en) rather than English - United States (en-us)

If I choose Language customisation and open language pack for editing, not sure what to do here.


Does anyone have suggestions how to fix this problem.

Hi Diane

Can you check the user's profile > Preferences > Preferred language is English US 

Language customisations aren't required - this is for changing the standard language strings of an exiting language pack . Whereas your problem is the wrong language pack is being selected for a user.

if this doesn't work then there are settings such as language autodetetct that can be turned off.

Thanks for your answer Craig, we did get it figured out.  

We did have preferences set to English US in the Localization >Language settings and it was still giving us  British Eng.    

We ended up installing new language packs outside of the load language pack feature which wasn't working.
