To assign a manager to a user the user needs to have a manager assigned to their Job assignment . 

This can be done by

•  manually by Adding a job assignment when editing a users profile or
•  uploading a job assignment file if you have a lot of data that needs updating frequently and there is an external system that this information can be sourced from.

If you include no Stansed airport users as staff - then the manager will get notifications from these staff.
