Hi, 


 is there a possibility for Totara to send Outlook invitations to the users who booked for a session instead of Totara sending an email with ics attachment? 


This would allow the users to have the meeting in their Outlook calendar as pending as soon as they receive an email from LMS. They could then choose to accept it when they look at the calendar without going back to the inbox & it will remind them what is coming up should they want to attend. 

We are on version 2.9, but if not possible in this version, is it possible on T13?

Hi  Vladimir

In later versions of Totara 9+ the calendar invitations are sent inline as an email that can be opened in your email client and accepted to add to the email client calendar.

Maybe you can add something to the seminar details in 2.9 to describe that the email attachment needs to be opened to add the event to the email client's calendar.
