One of our clients came to us with a problem. They say there is this program in their LMS platform (Totara 11) that had an enrolled audience but recently this audience disappeared. None of the 10 (ten) admins of the platform remember deleting it and ask us to investigate what happened and if that audience can be restored. Two users that finished the program in between May 25th when it was created and June 1st when they realised the audience is missing, are still shown in the program report as completed but no other users that started it but didn’t finished.
First of all, I checked the audience for the program in cause. The report shows that there are 3 manually assigned learners an audience with 0 (zero) members (screenshot attached). I checked all the active audiences and none have zero members which means that is a deleted audience? Is there any other explanation for this?
If this happened, how can I found when which one of the admins did this? I couldn’t find how to get a detailed activity report for any user or admin for a date different to the current day.
Is there any other possibility for this to happen?
The second question is if it is possible to restore this audience or a new audience have to be created? In this case, what will happen with the learners that didn't finish the program? It is possible for their progress to be kept if the conditions and name of the new audience will be the same?
