Is there any way to automate an update to users level of competency based on course completion in Totara 12? It seems to be a manual process to update the competency via the plan regardless of linked course completion. Cant see any option to bulk update via the import or from an via standard api.

I thought that when the courses that are linked to a competency are completed the competency would be assigned and aggregated automatically.
Can you check that the linked courses are showing in the learning plan as mandatory courses ?

Hi Craig, thank you based on your response which confirmed this should be updated based on course completion, i did some further investigation and found the scheduled task that updates status was set to run hourly. Once the task ran the competency status was updated. Thanks for confirming as i wasn't sure how this was meant to function based on the product doco.
