HI - in the legacy appraisals you were able to display user profile info in the appraisal forms - will you be able to do this in the new Perform Activities 14.2 or 15?

Hi Alistair.

In 13 we made a design decision to show a user profile at the top of all activities.

You can set profile fields here.  /user/profile/index.php

You can set which fields are displayed from here /user/profile_summary_card_edit.php.  You are able to add custom fields and select them to display in the profile header on activities.

customise profile

We have limited the number of fields you can display to 4 to ensure the display fits within the profile card.

HI - Just re-vsiting this. In the legacy review, we bring in lots of user profile info through the appraisal, so we bring in various custom fields like target grades, apprenticeship start and end dates etc . Having just 4 fields in the profile at the top of the activity doesn@t work for us. Is there / can there be a plan to bring in user profile fields into the body of the appraisal liek you can currently - otherwise it is a backward step.

Thanks

Alistair

Hi Alistair.

Can you please explain the user cases you are trying to achieve.  I want to make sure I'm understanding the need rather than a point solution.

There seems to be alot of dumping custom quantification data into the profile for a variety of reasons.  Is there a particular reason that this content is put on the user's profile?  Normally in CRM qualifying data wouldn't simply reside on the users' profiles.

How is this content used in the appraisal?

Cheers
