I have set up a feedback form for a seminar but I need the trainer to be able to view the responses. At the moment they are unable to do this.
Which role should I assign them so that they can view feedback responses that has been submitted?

Rather than assigning the user another role you can edit the role permissions of the Trainer to Allow 'View the analysis page after submit' mod/feedback:viewanalysepage
You should also check that the permission View reports mod/feedback:viewreports is allowed
