is it planned to reactivate the option "login as a specific user" in Totara 14/15 for a Tenant Manager?
In Totara 14 unfortunately this function is only available for a site admin. Anyway, if you know also a workaround it would be also interesting for me...

Unsure of your version, however in ours, this is controlled by the use of permissions, and the site admin should be able to allow this permission for other roles.

Unfortunately it isn't quite as simple as this because the 'login as' permission is only able to be applied at a system level. If you allow this permission at the system level then the user could login as users in the site not just their tenant.
There is a feature TL-22268 to add login as on a tenant level - this hasn't been prioritised yet.
If you are wanting the login as to see what the learner is seeing then the creation of a test learner account might help.

Hope that this function will be possible for a tenant manager in the future. In some cases troubleshooting is easier if you check the issues from a learners perspective.
Nevertheless, your suggestion to create test user is a good tip. We'll do it like you proposed. Thanks for it...

Yes we are looking at improving various multi tenancy behaviour n the near future - another way to get the user experience without creating a test account is to use the switch roles. to switch to the Learner role.
Note that using the login as and switch roles are not always 100% accurate as users may have different browsers and/or operating systems

I join the question how about the priority of TL-22268. Are there any plans to reassign this permission/possibility to selected people? We would need it for our key users (for tenants) and the serrvicedesk to be able to support the users.
