Dynamic Audience and Certification Pathway

Dynamic Audience and Certification Pathway

Hi there,

We're implementing a new Basic Life Support program called RQI. This will be an alternative to our annual classroom based certification.

A learner has to complete an initial online and skills based assignment (called Entry or Prep depending on their existing skill set). This gives them an initial certification which is valid for 3 months. To retain certification, the learner needs to complete cognitive and skills based education once every three months, the content of which changes from month to month (we have 4 different courses - RQI 1-4).

We have audiences created to place the learner into curriculum pathways depending on when they complete the initial learning (entry/prep) but don't know how to create the certificate pathway without doing 20 separate certificates (Entry/Prep, plus the 4 quarterly unique courses required to maintain certification), across the 4 different audiences.

Surely there must be a simpler way to do this? Would love any advice, thanks in Advance

Hi Richard,

Couldn't you set up one Certification and have all courses feed into it.

For example we have multiple CPR courses and we just have one CPR Certification so whichever course the learner completes validates their certificate.

You would set up the certification with the initial entry or prep course and then the recertification is all the different RQI courses using the 'either' rule so once every 3 months when the learner completes one of the RQI courses their certificate is valid again.

Is that what you are looking to do?

Cheers
