I have a quick question on how people are assigned to audiences. We assign individuals to an audience based on their rehire date.
When we select within the upcoming does that also include day zero.
Example: I have a hire that starts on 8-15. 4 complete days would 8-11 day zero when the rule was created and the 12th -1, 13th - 2, 14th - 3 and the 15th day 4. Is day zero part of this calculation? I have a co-worker that says that day zero doesn't factor in and if that is the case we have a 24 hour black hole when this individual would not be included.
We use HR-Import and it is one thing if the individual hasn't been imported into our system until the 16th then they would not show up in this audience and if they were hired on the 16 they would also not appear in the list.
This was all brought about by a discussion where we think someone is back dating hire dates for contractors who were not receiving their training and that would make sense whey they are not automatically receiving training.
I just want to make sure that day zero does count because if it doesn't we may need to take into account that fact in our audience rule creation.
