I have competencies set up for self assessment of ratings. I have added linked courses. Is there a way to display the related courses as optional?

it is possible to make linked courses non mandatory and to make the proficiency based on completion of a specified number of courses,

When I viewed the courses linked to the competencies I couldn't see any difference in the interface between mandatory and optional courses

Is this the screen that you were wanting to see the difference between optional and mandatory courses?
