Anyone using 'Self-Registration with Approval'??

Hi all

We are thinking of using 'Self-registration with Approval' to make our onboarding into Totara slicker. Does anyone use this as a means of issuing accounts?

Yes, we use ours for agency nurses/doctors, I created an extra position hierarchy with the different roles, so they could be pulled through to audiences. You just have to be careful about duplicate accounts if they have worked for you before. Also think about how long they need access for - how are you going to know when to suspend them?

Thanks for the confirmation. I was thinking of using a different Position and Location hierarchy as well. Our agency would be using their payroll number as their ID, that helps with keeping track of previous accounts for the same person. We get HR Import files from our clock in/out system to handle leavers etc. so suspending shouldn't be a problem.
