adding external delegates to seminars

HI

One of our sessions run are available to delegates within our organisation and those outside.

What is the best way to allow external delegates access to sign up to the seminar and so that we can keep a record of who attened.

we also have a feedback form set up on the seminar so im hoping that by allowing external delegates to enroll, once we mark them as attended they would be then able to complete the feedback form?

Is guess access the best way to do this or just imorting delegate lists?

Many thanks

Hayley

Hi Hayley

For someone to be an attendee for a seminar they need a unique account on Totara The feedback activity would also require a unique account in Totara

Are these people able to self register to create themselves an account to sign up for the seminar and provide feeback and then have their account deleted ?

Regards

HI Craig

Thank you for your reply.

By allowing external delegates to create accounts, will this then give them access to all courses in the catalogue. We only need them to have access to one particular programme.

Do you have any other suggestions for recording external delegates?

we have version 13

Many thanks

Hi Hayley

These users would have access to all visible courses by default. These user wouldn't be able to enrol in the visible course unless the course has self enrolment allowed.

It is possible to hide courses from the catalogue by hiding the category or by enabling audience based visibility and setting visibility for the programme to users who are enrolled or a member of an audience
