Hi Everyone,
Not sure if anyone
can assist or may have experienced similar, however we have found that for
quite a large number of our learners the cmi.core.lesson_status is not
being reported/updated back to totara once they have finished the module/SCORM
within the course, thus resulting in the learner not being able to progress
further into the course.
However this does not happen to every learner, but it occurs across a range of browsers/devices so we can't pinpoint the exact cause.
We use Evolve Authoring as our course builder for our courses and we have courses that have five individuals modules with one SCORM package.
When the SCORM is reporting properly, the cmi.suspend_data and cmi.score.lesson_status update and the learner can progress.
When the SCORM does
not report/update properly the cmi.score.lesson_status stays as "incomplete" and the cmi.suspend_data
updates to say the SCORM is complete, but the learner is unable to progress
onto the next module.
When the SCORM is
incomplete the the cmi.suspend_data has "_isComplete":false,"_status":"incomplete"
so we know the learner has not completed the requirements within the
SCORM.
Not sure if a setting in Totara may need to change or if it has something to do with the Evolve settings.
