Following on from my previous post https://totara.community/mod/forum/discuss.php?d=26367, which Craig kindly confirmed is reproducible, we;'ve discovered another issue while trying to grade an Assignment submission using the Annotate PDF (assignfeedback_editpdf) plugin, in Totara v16.

There is a quicklist feature in the the Annotate PDF function. Its possible to add a phrase to the quicklist and use this to replace the words on an existing comment. However, when we try and create a new comment by selecting a quicklist item, this comment appears and quickly disappears. All this means we can't use the quicklist feature to create new comments.

We've demonstrated this issue occurs when we install a fresh version of Totara v16.5, with a blank database and no additional plugins. It occurs on all browsers we have tested, including Firefox, Chrome, IE Edge, Safari. The issue DOES NOT occur on Totara v12.3. So we are thinking this could be 'bug' in Totara.

Again we'd appreciate any advice on this issue and how we might mitigate it.
