Restrict Access unless booked on seminar/event

For learners, is there a way to restrict their access to a course or activity, unless they have booked themselves in for a seminar?

We want our employees to have access to pre-learning, prior to attending a face-to-face session, but don't want them to have access to the pre-learning unless they're booked in for a face-to-face session.

Can this be facilitated in the course itself (without needing the attendance to be marked), or in a program? That the seminar booking is a separate course to the pre-learning course?

Help is appreciated!

Thanks

Hi Jasmin

The activity access restriction don't include anything that is triggered by someone booking a seminar.

The grade or user profile field could be manually changed to provide access to a activity.

The splitting of the courses into two course with a program would work . What is the problem with using a program structure  where one course needs to be completed before the other course

Hi guys,

I was after a similar thing, and I think the program would work. My only next question is, is there a way to make those courses/ activities available only during the seminar time?
