H there everyone. Just wondering what processes you use to enable a course administrator to complete a course as a learner? Previously we have advised them to 'switch role' to learner before doing so but have recently received advice that this is not the best way to achieve this. Appreciate any advice.

Hi Sarah,
We find they have to be enrolled as a learner. If you 'switch role' it gives the admin person the view of a learner but it doesn't enrol them and therefore their progress is not tracked.
We have self-enrolment turned on and in the Course administration menu the option of 'Enrolment options'. We have our admins click that and they get the option to enrol in the course. Then they will have their progress tracked and earn a course completion.
