We were excited to start developing courses in the Pathway course format. (Apart from SCORM packages appearing in small windows with white space.). We are now experiencing vey slow loading times with the "wheel of death". We contacted our host and they cannot seem to find the solution. Any help warmly welcomed

This is an interesting issue and not something I've seen reported as specifically affecting SCORM activities in the Pathway course format.
There are a few of things I'd check:
Have you tried changing the course format to Topics and check whether the SCORM now loads normally (i.e. without delay?)
Have you tried adding the same SCORM to another Pathway Course on the same site?
Does this affect all users when viewing the SCORM?
Does this happen in all browsers (Chrome/Firefox etc)?
Based on what you've described so far, it's possible that this maybe something that will require more in depth investigation. My recommendation would be to contact your Totara Partner and suggest that they raise a ticket with the Totara Helpdesk. Our team can then open an investigation to find the cause of this problem.
